Moviehole talked to "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise co-writer Terry Rossio and sent in these highlights about a possible fourth movie and his other projects:

Tell us how Keith Richards is faring over there?
Well, you don't hire Keith Richards to get a guy who shows up in the morning, on time, wearing a suit and tie. You get a guy who shows up at night, on time, with a bottle of wine. There were good times on the set.

Online rumors say this is the final 'Pirates' movie - but I'm sure Disney has other plans. What do you think? Any more 'Pirates' movies left in you?
It's like the fourth Indiana Jones picture - there are forces in play to make it happen, and forces in play to make it not happen. I think we will try to write a screenplay. I can't say if we'll be able to solve the challenge of making a good fourth film, or if our screenplay will be enough to get a film made.

You've been working with Sandra Bullock on a film called 'Jingle' - can we get an update on that?
Even the worst Christmas film does pretty well over the holidays, and we have a great Christmas film that nobody wants to make. Go figure.

What else have you got coming up in the near future?
Well, we've got Pirates III of course, and we're also helping out Bruckheimer with the National Treasure sequel. We [also] worked on a film coming up called The Spiderwick Chronicles. There's also a couple of producing projects -- one called Plant Life, a talking Plant movie, set up with Disney. But really what we want to do next is... a western!

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End opens in theaters on May 25.

So POTC 4 has been announced according to IMDB. It is POTC: On Strange Tides and is due out in 2011(as of right now).
So it is a torrential down pour where I am so I am a little bored gaah

Anyway the reason I mention is I was being a bit of a Johnny Depp stalker sleazy

& tried to look up the cast and could only find Johnny listed! He apparently is the only one in the movie LOL

There was a bit about "Pirates 4" on the entertainment news on the radio a couple of days ago. Apparently one of the main producers has left (the one who argued that Johnny should be allowed to play Captain Jack the way he wanted to). Johnny has said that he's now a lot less excited about doing anymore POTC films, and might not even do it. Don't know if he was actually signed up until he saw a script. Orlando and Keira definately aren't in it.
Sounds like it's all up in the air at the moment...

They couldnt possibly expect to change the way Johnny plays Jack now...

If they try.. i wont even see the movie. Bah.

So I heard a rumor that penelope cruz has signed on for On Strange Tides - not sure how I feel about that. Sometimes I think shes great in movies and other times she just annoys me - guess I'll have to wait and see! It is just rumored right now so it may not even be true we'll see!! Confused

The 4th one Is only gonna have, Johnny Depp, and Geoffry Rush in it Maybe. It's gonna be awesome, them looking for the fountain of youth.
